Breast exams are a routine part of an Annual or Preventive Visit.

• We strongly encourage patients to peform self breast exam on a monthly basis.  The best time would be at the start of a new menstrual cycle.  We have brochures that describe the self breast exam and are available free of charge.

• We do evaluate breast lumps, abnormal nipple discharge and breast pain.

• We can perform aspiration of breast cysts in the office in selected patients.

• We do not perform breast biopsies, but can facilitate an appointment with a general surgeon who does.
