Pregnancy After 35
Pregnancy after 35 carries risks that are less common before women achieve this age.
- Fertility decreases with age
- Chromosomal abnormalities increase with age (Down's syndrome etc.)
- The onset of medical conditions such as diabetes and hypertension are more common

- Review of family history for genetic diseases
- Discussion of antepartum testing for fetal anomalies such as Blood tests, Ultrasound, Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS) and Amniocentesis.
